Simon Copland is a PhD candidate in Sociology at the Australian National University (ANU), studying the online ‘manosphere’. He has research interests in online misogyny, extremism and male violence. Simon is a freelance writer, and had chapters in the books ‘Queer Stories’ and ‘Going Postal’. Simon powerlifts and is a David Bowie and rugby union fanatic.
