Komala Murugiah is a photojournalist, researcher, and Master of Education graduate from the Melbourne Graduate School of Education, specializing in Equity, Diversity, Social Change, and Policy. She is currently involved in research with the UNESCO Chair for Cultural Diversity and Social Justice at the Alfred Deakin Institute for Citizenship & Globalisation.
